Thank you for taking time to read our letter! We are Damon and Seren from Utah. We have been together for ten years and married for nine years. Even before we were married we talked about adoption. We knew that we wanted to become parents through adoption. We had issues with infertility and have adopted all three of our children.
We adopted our two sons at birth, six months apart. They have grown up like twins and they are both six years old now. Cruz is our oldest boy. He is funny, adventurous and a very sweet kid. He loves to play with his brother and sister and will be a good big brother to a baby.
Ebbon is also six and a very sweet little guy. He is a bit shy but once he warms up he is very funny and loves make people laugh. He loves to hold our friend’s babies and asks all the time when we will have a baby in our house! He will be a good helper and a sweet big brother.
Our daughter is eight years old. She was adopted from Congo. She’s been home almost two years. She is very quiet, sweet and a good big sister. She loves to help with everything. She cannot wait to have a baby brother or sister.
Damon and I met ten years ago, while he was active duty in the military. We have lived several different places but decided to settle in Utah, near Seren’s family. We live around extended family and we are all very close. Damon is a very involved Dad, the kids can’t wait until he gets home so they can play with him. I’m a therapist but will only be working one day a week. I will be a stay at home mom the rest of the time. Family time is very important to us.
We enjoy taking trips together. We love to go to the lake, staying at a cabin in the mountains, swimming, going to concerts, playing at the splashpad at the park, going to church where the kids have a lot of friends, going to movies and having playdates. Life with our family is very fun but we also like to slow down and enjoy everyday life just hanging out with each other. We love to always find a new adventure. We cannot wait to have “the baby or babies of the family join us.” We are looking forward to completing our family through adoption.
We realize that this is not an easy decision for you. We respect that and want you to know that we send you love and many prayers. We would love to talk to you if you are interested in knowing more about us! We wish you love and peace as you make this decision for your child or children.
Much love to you,
Seren, Damon & Kids
